The second one is cytomegalovirus which is very similar. The thing we have to make sure is that she lay low, stay hydrated and repeat her labs.The great thing about being friends with Isaiah's mom is that she knew exactly what the problem was since she is an EXPERT on the liver with all Isaiah has been through-she helped ease my mind.

Keeping you all in my prayers...I'm glad Jen was able to ease your fears...it's nice when you have someone close that knows exactly what you're going through and in this case is a nurse and can even tell you what's going on. :o)
I don't know details, but the word "virus" makes me think it's cureable, which is a good thing right? In my mind that word sounds better than "disease" which is what I was afraid I'd read.
Either way, she's still in my prayers!

When I was in college I got mono so bad that the EBV infected my liver also.

YAY! I am so glad to hear that she's home. I will keep praying for you guys! By the way, THANK YOU For letting us know about Isaiah. I have linked him to a blog asking intercessors to pray, and my five year old little boy is praying for Isaiah like crazy! Tonight he was asking God to tell him Isaiah's full name and tell Isaiah his full name so they will know each other when they get to play together.. even though we've never met and we live in Arkansas!
