BODY VENTURE!

I got a sitter for the 4 littles and took the 2 big kids to a field trip today-it was SUPER COOL! It was called THE BODY VENTURE. Basically a TRIP through the Human body. We started out going inside the brain....Learning about brain food.
Then went straight into the mouth & learned about brushing, flossing and food needed for healthy teeth.
I was hoping getting a picture by this BIG EAR may help them listen better :)
It was SO neat, then we went into the intestines, lungs, heart, bones and muscle areas.
I really think they learned alot of hands on stuff. The motto was EAT SMART-PLAY HARD!Now it's time to again say goodbye to our beloved Julie-the babysitter we ALL LOVE! She watched our kids a lot while she was home from college for Christmas and watched them quite a bit last summer. She informed me today that she may not be coming home this summer...NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I know that God will provide another sitter this summer if He wants to.

WE WILL MISS YOU JULIE & We are thankful for you!

It was nice to get out with the 2 big kids alone-I even took them to Hardees for breakfast-a treat!

Oh wow!!! Our children would love that exhibit too!

Very cool!

Hugs and love - trusting God to provide the perfect sitter for your family this summer. Pray on one for us too. I haven't had one in over a year. No dates, etc for this group. It is time!

that looks so cool!!! I have got to see if we have something like that around here.
You gotta love something that is fun AND educational. It is easier to learn when you don't realize you ARE learning. ;)
Thanks for sharing.
