Me & ANGELINA JOLIE!!!

There is only one way that I wanna be like her. CAN YOU GUESS?
AND just when you thought you couldn't afford to adopt internationally!
My good friend HO HO has hooked me up with some SUPER AWESOME NEWS! For those of you who have dreamed of adopting from China, Ethiopia, Russia & Kazakhstan. Some of the adoptions are COMPLETELY FREE (YES FREE) and some are only $5,000. Please go to WACAP and check it out. I have talked to a woman who had a successful and wonderful adoption and has her daughter home from Ethiopia.
I know it's DEFINITELY got my wheels spinning!
WHY YOU SHOULD..................................

The main reason is this...
BY 2010, between 25 MILLION and 50 MILLION African children from newborn to age 15 will be orphans.

The Christians need to take a STAND for these children! We ARE responsible to act!

Red, Yellow, Black & White...ALL precious in HIS SIGHT.

Will you take a risk? Step out of your comfort zone? Out of your spoiled life to help one of these who needs you? God did it for you..its YOUR TURN. He IS a father to the fatherless...

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing... Psalm 68: 5&6

Ohh! I want some!! Having ALWAYS wanted to adopt, God gave us two (back to back) naturally. My hubby says we are done. I would like 10 more. Really. At least. :) I figure, as the older ones grow... I just can keep adding ones at the bottom. ;) I've been keeping a friend's 18 month boy while they are visiting their new baby in the NICU for a week at a time... hubby thinks its fine, except that he told our friends no more babysitting because its making his wife (me) want to have a little black baby!! :) I know God will change His heart, eventually. Thanks for the info - and your undying voice the cries out for plight of the orphan!

Wooohooo---God is doing something amazing in your heart! I cannot wait to see how things unfold.

I have heard incredible things about WACAP. They are one agency that I know of that keep their fees LOW, just so that children can come home. Got to love it!

We looked at WACAP before deciding to go with AAI's Ghana program. Why? We simply felt called to Ghana, and WACAP doesn't "do" Ghana. But for those whose child is waiting in one of the countries they serve, I think it's an awesome program!

You are such a wonderful mom!! BIG BIG heart and likely to end up not with a "boatload" but a "cruiseship-load" of kids:)

oooh man you are speaking right to my heart. I've always felt drawn to adoption, but my husband works at a facility for troubled kids and sees all the adoptions that went wrong. He is waaaay nervous to approach the subject. I'm expecting God to help us BOTH know when the time is right!

I will have to check that out! We are currently in the process of adding to our family by adopting through foster care! ♥

Okay, we need to catch up via phone again soon. Drinking Ethiopian coffee, griding Ethiopian beans, talking about Jolie...hmmmm....you know I've been praying 'bout that!

I love, love, love your heart, Jen!

I'm heading out to an adoption parenting conference in St. Louis this weekend, but maybe a phone date next week?

WACAP is awesome! I would SO love to adopt again. Each of our adoptions reached $30,000 when it was all said and done. I think we went overboard on the airfare and hotel rooms while in China!! I am a bit of a traveling princess. heh. It didn't help that we traveled with 5 of our kiddos :)
I would adopt again in a nano second if hubby would agree! Thanks for the post!
