M.I.A. A Scare...

"Where's BIT BUT?" I simply asked. We spread out the search party for BIT BUT. The big kids thought he was with The Captain outside, I thought he was with the big kids. WE PANICKED (okay that was mostly me). WE SPREAD OUT....

We have a fairly large home on 160 acres-HE COULD BE ANYWHERE? We searched and searched both inside and out. Finally I hear Bean and T laughing. This is what they found. ONE BABY BIT BUT ASLEEP under Lotty The Ladybug. Camouflaged. Probably trying to escape THE MADNESS.
I'm so thankful today-thankful mostly that my children are healthy, thankful that BIT BUT was found safe & sound-thinking for even a split second that something had happened to my baby sent my heart to my toes.

That will be a story told for many years. Praise God that that sweet little guy was safe (and quite sound!). That is the scariest feeling a mother could have!
By the way, thanks for the blogs addresses. I'm praying...

Oh I HATE the feeling of a kiddo being lost, even if it's just for a split second!

Glad he was fine! =)

so glad you found your sweet little one! When I was younger we had a similar experience with my little bro. I remember my mom being frantic as we were looking ever where we could think of on the farm! We finally found him, sound asleep on a bookshelf in the diningroom, 2 shelves up! What relief and today my mom laughs about it alot!
Blessings,
Gayly

A good ending to a scary situation! My 4-year-old did that last fall - disappeared and we could NOT find him. I was about to start walking the neighborhood, when one of the kids found him asleep under his train table. He had apparently gone there to hide, as a game, and then he just fell asleep!
