The Captain SWOOPS in to save the day!

My My is crying because of me..
I'm sitting here on the couch on bed rest, minding my own business, reading a book
and she comes in the house with this

If you look closer,  you will see IT!
MY ENEMY FOR LIFE..
THE MOUSE
She BROUGHT IT IN THE HOUSE.
The same mouse I pay a RODENT CONTROL PERSON quarterly
to keep OUT OF MY HOUSE-and its worth every dad gum PENNY!

She said "It was all alone out there mommy, it's just a baby."

I SCREAM "GET THAT THING OUT OF MY HOUSE!"
I AM ON BEDREST FOR BLOOD PRESSURE ISSUES PEOPLE!
This mouse in my home made my heart race and BP RISE!

What does a couch ridden mother who can't go outside do with this
scared mouse and HYSTERICAL CHILD?

CALL THE CAPTAIN!!
He was out in the field on the big tractor working ground with the boys
while the girls played outside.

HE PULLED THAT BIG GREEN TRACTOR OVER AND

HE CAME TO THE RESCUE with his gentle hand and spirit.

He promptly gave the mouse water and cheese and told her IT could live in the garage and
possibly he would get a cage for IT.
WHAT ON EARTH!
He's SUCH a nice guy...

His duty here is done, he calmly, lovingly saves the day once again, hangs up his cape & climbs back in the tractor.

I cannot even begin to describe my love for him........

I cry as I write this...(I'm an emotional pregnant woman remember?)
Yesterday he took the 2 boys for a total of 8 shots (normally my job), today he took the girls to the dentist (normally my job) and EVERY DAY he is home from his regular flying job, he farms, mows, bathes children, cooks, cleans, grocery shops, shuttles kids to violin and piano, plays blocks, does laundry-basically EVERYTHING for me & our family.

Thank you Lord for my wonderful husband who I love more every second...

UPDATE: THE MOUSE IS NOW LOOSE IN MY GARAGE UGH!

I would have reacted the same way! I can't stand mice either. I would have totally freaked out, without even being pregnant! I can completely relate. I don't know if I would have been thrilled with it living in the garage - just as long as it is not attached to the house! :)

That had me squirming and then crying! What a great husband you have! What a day, girlfriend. Just what you needed!:) Not sure that's what the doctor ordered, but glad your hubby was there to handle it!

Jen,
DON'T let that knight in shining armor come to my house!! That mouse would find it's way to the farthest ends of our property....FAR away from the house. Hope you don't hear tiny scratches all night long.:)
But really, you are blessed beyond measure to be loved so deeply. Hang in there, my friend....the end is in sight!
In Him,
E

Your daughter is so cute, I can't blame you though cuteness doesn't cut it when it comes to rodents! Just the thought of mice and I want to shriek! Hope you had the chance to rest

I know I shouldn't laugh but I couldn't help it! Sounds like a day in our lives, only one of mine would have dropped the bucket and let the thing go in the house:) What a blessing our husbands are to help us through these sort of times!
Praying for you friend!

BTW, I loved the 3d pics of your sweet girl! We got a few of those with each of our little ones and what a blessing they were!

Hope you have a great week!
Blessings,
gayly
