LOVING Cloth DIPES! They're ADDICTIVE!

We started cloth diapering full time about 2 weeks ago.
(OK, let's be real...I started cloth diapering...)

I LOVE IT.

I bought the below diapers (aka Chinese AIO pocket diapers) on ebay when I was preggers.
20 diapers for $90!

You can find a similar diaper HERE!

This is how they work..
Each diaper comes with an insert that soaks up all the pee and stuff..

Insert liner into pocket...

Adjust snaps/length to fit your baby.
(this is the tiniest size fit baby Bakers at 12 pounds)

Adjust waist-make it as tight as needed to fit baby.
You're DONE! Put on baby!
These diapers are okay and leak occasionally.
I only use these at home and maybe it is just because Bakers is still so little.

THESE ARE THE ONES I LOVE!
FUZZIBUNZ!

There was a promotion at BABY HALF OFF promoting these so I decided to order 2 diapers and see if they worked better than the Chinese dipes and WOW WOW WOW! I LOVE em!
They hold all day and all night too if you need and NEVER LEAK!
They literally HOLD THE MOTHER LOAD!
They are ALSO a pocket diaper.

It may also be that they come in sizes and size small is the PERFECT SIZE for Bakers!
They say most kids don't need bigger than a medium until they grow out of them!

They also come in ONE SIZE from birth to toddler. I prefer perfect size.

GO HERE to order them. I ordered 5 more there plus the 2 I already had=7
LOOK HOW HAPPY BABY BAKERS IS IN HER NAPPYS!
You can JUST TELL, she's thinking GREEN!

Then I found 3 of these sweet daisy prints in blue and green on EBAY for $30 and got them.
I have 10 altogether and haven't needed more yet.
I Dry pail them and wash them every 2 or 3 days-SUPER EASY!

The Captain HAS NOT really dug these yet or changed one but he IS warming up to the idea!

For those of you who said you would never CD..THINK AGAIN, its SO SUPER EASY!
Nothing like when we were wearin em!

For those moms who DO Cloth Diaper, what is your favorite cloth diaper and why should I try/buy one??

And once you buy some, you just wanna buy more.
It can be addictive..
at least its diapers and not booze right?

I like our fuzzi bunz too! We only use Rumparooz at night and they are the only diaper that we've NEVER had a leak with. I also love our fitted WAHM diapers for just around the house. Some of my favorites are from hyenacart.com - bebe britches, doodle dypes, and bagshot row bamboo. There are so many options but those are just a few of my faves :)

I started cloth diapering my little one back in September and LOVE it also! She's our 9th total and just 1 day older than your sweet girl.
I would suggest getting some basic fitted diapers (the kind that are not waterproof and need covers) and pairing them with the Chinese AIO's. I do that with mine and it works wonderful...use 2 fitted for even better overnight protection.
My other AIO's and fitted's are various brands, with no particular difference between them. I do love my Nikky's covers though. I bought my entire stash from ebay as well...one seller except for my 2 Chinese AIO's (and I managed to snag them, new, for $1.04 plus shipping!)

Do you use cloth wipes as well? I didn't at first until I realized it would be so much easier with CD's. All I did for mine was I bought and cut up (ok, had my oldest DD cut up!) 4 thrift store receiving blankets...$3.60 for more wipes than I will ever need!

I just found your blog and hope to be a devoted follower. Our littlest ones are so close in age and I love connecting with other big families!

Oh ME TOO! Huge cloth diaper fan! We use bumgenius one size and I really like them though i have never used another brand, so i can't really compare.

I am not a hard core user - if baby is in the church nursery or we are on a family trip to the zoo or something then I go back to disposable.

Also, two of my cloth babies got diaper rash if I kept them in cloth 24/7. the "perfect recipe" for each of them was to do cloth all day and a disposable through the night. Kept away the rash and kept momma happy :)

@Laura...that's interesting about the rashes! Really shows how two babies can be so different...In our case my baby has only gotten rashes when I've switched back to a disposable (I had 1/2 a pack left when I received my CD's and 'thought' I'd use them up for outings or rainy weather). It's strange though because rashes with disposables weren't an issue until I'd switched to CD's.

Oh, and forgot to say in my other post...YES, they are very addictive! It was so hard not to go over my budget with all the adorable styles and patterns! (But I mostly behaved...until/unless she grows out of my current stash!)

We used the fuzzibunz too--started out with the one size, then went to the perfect size. Genna LOVED them-- when I would get out a disposable for an outing--she say "NO--I want Fuzzibunz!"

Unfortunately I couldn't talk Grandma into using them, so we only used them at home. Grandma still thinks all cloths are like the ones from the dark-ages :)

But, now, Genna (32 mo) has been accident-free for the last week and a half and even wore her big-girl undies to school today! YIPPEE!!

I'm sure baby Bakers is loving her fuzzibunz!
