I COULDN'T do it.....

Thank you ALL for the prayers and encouraging words.
I had EVERY intention of giving her a bottle in the night last night.
I even had it out and ready..
BUT LOOK AT THIS FACE..
Could.not.do.it...
We had a fabulous night of nursing.
I don't know if I will stop the medicine or what.
We shall see.
I will take it minute by minute & pray for strength.

Can you check into some of the natural remedies available? Seems several people have mentioned having success with those.

I'll pray you find healing that will also allow you to follow your hearts desire and nurse. If you can't, I pray you'll be able to wean and feel peace about it.

You've done a great job nursing this long with all the health issues!

I understand how you feel. My youngest is 6 months old and the very thought of weaning him is so sad! He's the first baby I've nursed...and I am enjoying it so much! He also loves it!! I enjoy night nursing as well...lol! Good luck, and I hope you find a way you can nurse her as long as mutually desired!!

Jen, I am so sorry.... I missed your last post. I know how hard it is, I struggled when I had to wean all of mine too and it was a HUGE thing I missed about not getting to experience when Samuel died. I have never had to wean quickly though.

Hang in there friend. I will be praying for you all as you transition if that is what you chose at this point and I will especially be praying for healing for your body.

I completely get the whole thing with it being hard emotionally... praying friend!

Praying for you friend! Email me if you want, my dear friend, M, who I have written about on my blog story is similar with health issues after pregnancy.
As for weaning, I feel for you so much. Our sweet Eli was so sick when he was born and I pumped and pumped, dreaming of eventually breast feeding him but he was never ever to tolerate it:( It broke my heart...
Sending you hugs and prayers friend! You are a great mama to all your littles!

There is such an intense relationship between a breastfeeding mother and baby. I nursed 2 of my children, one for 19months and one for 2 and a half years. My heart goes out to you in making the right decision for your health and baby. Your baby is absolutely beautiful!
