ONE YEAR AGO...You Grow Girl 1 YEAR!

First let me just say

I'M AN EMOTIONAL WRECK..

BAWLING AS I WRITE THIS..

Now, We may begin with the regularly scheduled blogging..

A VERY SWOLLEN "ME" One year ago..

36 weeks 3 days..

39 AND HOLDING :)

Although I had a HUNCH, I wasn't sure I was

On my way to my LAST OB Appointment EVER.. *sniff*

I had my bag and fancy delivery gown packed since about TRIMESTER ONE!

I was READY.....KINDA...

I had been on bed rest for almost 4 months..

With 6 little ones, THAT AINT EASY PEEPS!

And before I knew it, I was kissing my PRECIOUS ANGEL..

OUR MIRACLE BABY..

Just months earlier FROZEN IN A TEST TUBE..

OUR PRECIOUS answer to SO MANY PRAYERS..

Prayers of a mother....ME..For God to fill my womb.

I could SO RELATE to Hannah....

It was SO SURREAL..

To this day..The tears stream down my cheeks as I find it hard to WRAP MY BRAIN AROUND God's goodness to our family..

To be able to experience pregnancy with THE CAPTAIN..
To put Embryo Adoption in our path...

WOW, Thank you Lord.

Pregnancy is a bond like no other between husband and wife.

I am so Grateful for it..

I truly feel complete.

IT ALL HAPPENED SO FAST THOUGH... Our precious little newborn is now a *GULP*..

ADORABLE LITTLE GIRL, TODDLING ALL OVER TARNATION!

As with all our other kids.. We have taken them at ONE YEAR for a photo shoot with our good friend Sara..ALSO MOTHER OF 8!

I know...it's over for me.. NO MORE BABIES.

I'll admit, it makes me sad at times that I will never again feel life moving inside of me.. (serious sobbing now)

But I feel SO BLESSED that I got to experience this..

Something my mother and many other women only dream of..

A gift from our Lord that is worth more than anything to our family..

A TRUE REWARD from HIM!

Here's our little princess at 8 months old.

Mommy is a bit behind..

You have 2 teeth at 8 months old

Still in size small FUZZIBUNZ

Size 6-9 month or 9 month clothes

You DO NOT like baby food any longer

YOU ONLY WANT food you can pick up and feed yourself!

You are STILL waking up once in the night-give Mama a BREAK would ya?

You take 2 naps a day for about one hour each.

You can walk behind your walker and take it EVERYWHERE!

You stand up on EVERYTHING!

You DO NOT LIKE to be strapped in or confined to ANYTHING including your car seat, stroller, swing, exersaucer etc...

9 Months...

You got your 3rd tooth (a fang) in Indiana while visiting my sister.

You LOVE baby puffs and puffcorn.

You are still in size small FUZZIBUNZ.

9 month clothes

You sleep through the night OCCASIONALLY. Mommy can't wait til this becomes a habit!!

YOU LOVE MEN!..Women...not so much..

You LOVE those nasty little chicken sticks that STINK.

You have MAJOR stranger anxiety!

You like to put EVERYTHING in your mouth!

You can get ANYWHERE you want to go and FAST!!

You can stand on your own for a few seconds!

EVERY brother and sister STILL adores you and fights over you!

You are a true joy, the light of our lives!

YOU GROW GIRL! 5 Months!

I just found my thumb, its pretty good...

 

I LOVE BOOKS!
Mommy thinks I'm smart but I REALLY DO Understand them!

I am still just nursing-that milk is GOOD STUFF. They don't call it LIQUID GOLD for NOTHIN!Mommy sometimes gives me a little nibble of her food too!

I even got to lick a sucker the other day after church!

Mommy says I'm "rollin' all over tarnation!"

I LOVE my cloth diapers-super soft on my hiney!

I REALLY HATE NAPPING during the day but I sleep really good at night for mommy. Mommy thinks I MAY be getting my first tooth.

Most importantly, I am still LOVED AND ADORED by all of my 7 brothers and sisters. I hear them fighting over who gets to hold me LOTS of times a day.

Mommy says I am a Gift from GOD ALMIGHTY and I hear my family from my 3 year old brother all the way up to Daddy thank God for me in their prayers constantly.

I heard Daddy say that I will get anything I want, whenever I want when I get bigger.

Sounds good to me!

Our Miracle Baby-1 YEAR AGO & NOW!

I had a hard time sleeping last night just thinking of the miracle performed 1 year ago today.

Twas one year ago today that I was on an airplane to Los Angeles to meet Baby Blakely...

One of the below pictures is our sweet angel exactly one year ago today.

One is of her sibling resting in heaven.

And here she is today!

Is she a miracle or WHAT?

I still have a hard time comprehending God's miracles and goodness especially when it comes to this sweet adopted girl. IT ALL HAPPENED SO FAST! The preparation, pregnancy and birth and now she's a big 4 month old girl already.

Thank you Lord for the gift of Baby Blakely, for seeing us fit to be her parents, for allowing us to experience the miracle of pregnancy & child birth. For the donating parents who chose us. For allowing us to spread the word about embryo adoption. Thank you for knitting her together in my womb. YOUR WORKS ARE WONDERFUL!

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and WONDERFULLY MADE; your works are WONDERFUL, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. YOU GROW GIRL! 4 Months!

Happy 4 Months to our MIRACLE GIRL!

She is SO HAPPY to be 4 months old!

FOUR MONTH FACTS...

I think you are a bit over 12 pounds. We take you tomorrow for shots, weight and height!

Food-You are still exclusively nursing and starting to CLAMP DOWN at times which hurts mommy!

Diapers-You wear size 2 diapers and we JUST STARTED cloth diapering this week-only at home.

Sleep-you usually sleep between 8-10 hours a night going to bed between 7pm and 9pm. We will be moving you into your big girl crib SOON-you are definitely outgrowing your bassinette!

You can ROLL OVER!! We got it on video. You roll well from tummy to back but not the other way yet. This whole "rolling over gig" has started to cause problems with your sleep. You roll over and then can't figure out how to get back to sleep. Last night you were up 3 times-UGH!

You LOVE to blow bubbles, raspberries and slobber.

Your tongue is RARELY in your mouth, you LOVE to stick it out!

You can actually hold some toys in your hands now, its so neat to watch.

You love to suck on your burp rags and your blanket.

You now like your swing and still adore your bouncy seat!

YOU STILL HATE YOUR CAR SEAT so it's hard to take you places without you crying and mommy stressing!

You like to be worn in a baby carrier but only for a little while.

Daddy moved out of his "office" today and moved in the old toy room! We will start painting your OWN ROOM today and you will get to move in soon!

WE ARE ALL STILL MADLY IN LOVE WITH YOU and EVERY in SINGLE Prayer your brothers and sisters say before meals and at bedtimes-THEY THANK GOD FOR YOU!

Yet ANOTHER Embryo Adoption! GOD IS GOOD!

Through my blog I have talked over the phone, SKYPE and emailed MANY people about embryo adoption.

I got the following email today from another gal I referred to my Dr.

Hi Jen-

It is pretty unbelievable that God used you in Kansas to get me to a doctor in Thousand Oaks! His ways are not our ways, right? Anyway, met w/ Dr. K yesterday. You are so right. He is amazing, confident, calm and even gave me his cell phone number. Who does that? We were very impressed. The best part was that they have a match for us. Hubby and I are a strange melting pot combination of ethnicities, which ended up making my son 25% Asian. Who would have ever guessed that Dr. K would have 25% Asian embies. We are headed on the path to adopt them and pray that everything goes smoothly from here on out. God is sooooo in control.

I know, I'm 2 days late!

WOW She has changed so much in a month!

THIS BLOG+God=ANOTHER EA BABY/BABIES!

I promised God that if I got pregnant, I would SHARE MY Embryo Adoption STORY!  And through doing so on this blog, I have referred 9 people to my Dr. in Los Angeles. The first one is pregnant with twins! 2 others had their transfers this week.

And then there is the most AMAZING STORY OF ALL!

God worked through my blog to introduce Sara's family to an embryo donor who also reads my blog. Sara & her husband have faced significant losses including their dear son Samuel. They have an amazing story.

The donor flew her embryos to California then Sara & her hubby flew to California to have their newly adopted embies transfered by the same Dr. we used.  CLICK HERE to read THEIR INCREDIBLE STORY!

Thank you God for helping me get the word out!
